These characters are officers, mages, and warlords leading forces in
the vicinity of the Talabec Borders during the Nemesis War. These
characters are ordinary, game-legal Lords and Heroes, and thus, these
characters may be included in games as normal. No additional equipment may
be purchased for them, and they must be fielded exactly as described here.
However, in Nemesis Crown Mega Battles in U.S. Hobby Centers and
participating independent retailers, the Nemesis Crown Personae bestow
additional advantages. Of course, if players agree, they may use these
characters with their advantages in any Nemesis Crown games they play (and
other games as well). |

Nobber Fangadoom. Though all greenskin Shamans are

Maximilian von Schädel. Maximilian spent his
early years as a mercenary and pirate before he

Baron Philippe d’Artaud. As a young knight, d’Artaud gave
up the keep and lands that were his due in order to quest for the

known as Rabe von Stahl began life as young nobleman and knight of
the Empire recruited into the ranks of a respected Knightly Order.
During Archaon’s invasion of the Empire in what would become known
as the Storm of Chaos, von Stahl’s regiment was dispatched to
Sylvania. There, von Stahl and his fellow knights did battle against
the forces of Chaos alongside Sylvanian militiamen and a mysterious

Skaven |
 |
Ratnash the Fleet. Though all Skaven, particularly
the members of Clan Eshin, have a diabolical animal cunning,
Ratnash the Fleet excels at stealth, deceptive tactics, and
silent murder. Ratnash is a master assassin who is personally
responsible for the deaths of over three dozen noblemen of
Talabecland. With the intrigues surrounding the search for the

Beasts of Chaos |
 |
Panyck the Manic. Beastmen have long dwelled within
the forests along the Talabec Borders. However, with the
hostilities involved in the search of the Nemesis Crown,
opportunistic war herds of Beasts of Chaos have become more
bold and brazenly attack the settlements of civilized men.
Panyck the Manic, a Bray-Shaman and servant of Slaanesh, is
the leader of one such war herd, one that has been
particularly aggressive and successful.

Slaanesh (20) Staff of Darkoth (25) Cost: 155

power level of 5 once in each Magic Phase (though he may still
cast it normally as specified in the magic item’s
description). Each time the spell is cast as a Bound Spell,
regardless of whether the spell was dispelled, roll a D6. On a
result of 1, the Staff is exhausted for the remainder of the
battle and may not be used to cast the Wild Call again, though
the item will still count as a
braystaff. |

Hordes of Chaos |
Angara the Yusak. Rumored to hail from eastern regions of
the Realm of Chaos, this Champion of Chaos has been actively
campaigning along the Talabec Borders under the banner of Vrathgar,

High Elves |
Illiam Versefinder. Making his home in the city of
Marienburg, Illiam is an unusual High Elf who has amassed a large
fleet of trading ships. These ships sail the world over, trading and
searching for that which Illiam holds most dear: the lyrics to the
Song of Cothique, a long-lost epic song-poem that tells the story of
Illiam’s family line. In his search, Illiam has become deeply
involved – at least by High Elf standards – in the affairs of men.
Recent rumors have brought Illiam and a small army of followers to
the Talabec Borders, where he hopes to find a hidden trove of
ancient tomes that may contain a fragment of the song of Cothique.
Surely, it is likely only a matter of time before Illiam finds
himself embroiled in the search for the Nemesis Crown.

Wand (10) Longbow (15) Cost: 230
Special Ability in Nemesis Crown Mega Battles: If Illiam

Dark Elves |
Vykiel the Monstrous. From a young age, Vykiel was known
for his cruelty, which was exceptional even by Druchii cultural
norms. As an adolescent, Vykiel was badly injured by an immature
Cold One he was torturing, an incident that left his face badly
scarred. From that moment on, Vykiel vowed to dominate beasts of all
kinds, and he has become a cruel but effective dominator of monsters
and animals. He has traveled to Old World along with other Dark
Elves hoping to seize the Nemesis Crown and now rides the Manticore
Yeurlond to terrorize the lands of the Empire.

Special Ability in Nemesis Crown Mega Battles: If Vykiel
is included in a Dark Elf army in a Nemesis Crown Mega Battle, War
Hydras may also be included as Special choices, Rare choices, or
both. | |
Ogre Kingdoms |
Vazgrat the Lucky. Though Vazgrat is a fearsome warrior,
he has flourished more as a result of luck than ability. Years ago,
Vazgrat narrowly avoided being eaten by his father, who fell off a
cliff on his way to “teach da runt a lesson.” Vazgrat managed to
enslave a Giant who happened to get caught in an avalanche that
Vazgrat started by “huckin’ stuff” at a rocky mountainside. He
bested his tribe’s best gut-barger, when the champion tripped as the
competition began and cracked his skull on a rock. Finally, Vazgrat
obtained his current position as Tyrant by smashing a horsefly
against the former Tyrant’s favorite Gnoblar – and thus smashing the
Gnoblar as well. As everyone knows, you don’t knock around the
boss’s Gnoblar unless you mean business. As Vazgrat’s luck would
have it, the former Tyrant bull-charged into one of the Rhinox tusks
lining the fighting pit, killed himself in so doing, and thus made
Vazgrat the leader of the tribe. With Vazgrat’s luck, surely he will
play a part in the search for the Nemesis Crown.
Tyrant (200) Ironfist (12) Brace of Handguns
(12) Squeeky, Luck Gnoblar (5) Deathcheater (20) Fistful of
Laurels (15) Heavy armor (6) Cost: 270

is included in an Ogre Kingdoms army in a Nemesis Crown Mega Battle,
the controlling player may reroll one single D6 he throws over the
course of the battle. | |
Lizardmen |
Zlatgar of Tlaqua. This brilliant tactician from the
Southlands has been dispatched by the Slann to search for the
Nemesis Crown. Zlatgar is a fierce warrior and an expert at
surviving hostile climates, finding hidden paths, and moving via
secret routes. The Slann covet the power of the Nemesis Crown. It is
a magical artifact close in power to the relics of the Old Ones, and
the Slann fear what might occur should the younger races claim this
treasure for themselves.
Saurus Oldblood (145) Blessed Spawning of Huanchi
(20) Blessed Mark of the Old Ones (35) Light Armor
(3) Shield (3) Cost: 206
Special Ability in Nemesis Crown Mega Battles: If Zlatgar
is included in a Lizardman army in a Nemesis Crown Mega Battle, any
unit of Saurus Warriors that he joins automatically gains the
abilities of the Blessed Spawning of Huanchi for free as long as
Zlatgar remains in the unit. This bonus is lost when Zlatgar leaves
the unit or is slain. | |
Tomb Kings |
Nyletoth the Charioteer. In life, Nyletoth loved nothing
better than horses and charioteering. He became a master of the
chariot and won many battles fighting from his prized golden vehicle
pulled by a team of the finest Khemrian stallions. In death, he
remains a master charioteer and often leads a large formation of
chariots in battle.
Tomb Prince (100) Crook & Flail of Radiance (50) Light
Armor (2) Chariot (45) Cost: 197
Special Ability in Nemesis Crown Mega Battles: If Nyletoth
is included in a Tomb Kings army in a Nemesis Crown Mega Battle, the
Chariots count as Core choices, just as though the army were led by
a Tomb King. | |
Dogs of War |
 |
Aeolus the Astromancer. This practitioner of the
Lore of the Heavens has long hired himself out to ship
captains, the navy of the Empire, and other seafaring folk who
have the gold to pay him. He is an expert at predicting the
future, navigating by the stars, avoiding storms and squalls,
and when circumstances demand, destroying enemy vessels with
lightning and comets.
Hireling Wizard (60) Level 2 upgrade (35) Staff of
Sorcery (50) Cost: 145
Special Ability in Nemesis Crown Mega Battles:
Aeolus is accustomed to traveling by water and the ways of
seafarers. In Nemesis Crown Mega Battles, Aeolus is Aquatic
like Lizardman Skinks, i.e., he may move over/through water
features without penalty and will benefit from soft cover as
he does so. This ability does NOT extend to units Aeolus
joins. | | |
Chaos Dwarfs |
Rykarth the Unbreakable. Known for his Toughness, Rykarth
is said to be among the most courageous of his kind. This Chaos
Dwarf hero was present in the forges of Zharr Naggrund when Archaon
brokered his deal for the dreaded Hellcannons. It is said that
Rykarth was able to meet the withering gaze of the Lord of the End
Times without looking away. A few moments later, Archaon agreed to
the exorbitant price demanded by the forge lords.
Chaos Dwarf Hero (60) Great Weapon (4) Armor of Gazrakh
(30) Cost: 94
Special Ability in Nemesis Crown Mega Battles: If Rykarth
is included in a Chaos Dwarf army in a Nemesis Crown Mega Battle,
the army may not include a Battle Standard Bearer. Instead, Rykarth
counts as a Battle Standard Bearer, such is the respect and
discipline he commands from his fellow Chaos Dwarfs.
